Hi, I'm Arturo, a Mexican-American Director and Photographer based in Houston, TX, and available for projects worldwide.

My love for people and their stories has been the main driving force behind any project I have been lucky enough to be a part of. Collaborating with clients and crew to bring to light the humanity in all things is what keeps me inspired and willing to push our ideas further that we can imagine.

After living and working in New York for eight years, where I attended Pratt Art School, I decided to move my base to Texas. I have continued to do what I love for clients I admire in places all over the world, often working in both New York and Los Angeles. Most of the time, I am shooting both stills and video simultaneously. This workflow, adopted as a director and photographer, allows me to provide a more streamlined production for clients on set. This means that stills and video deliverables can visually harmonize in any publication or ad campaign when we experience them out in the world.

Honored to have been Selected & Chosen for American Photography 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, and 38 and have also been Selected for the International Motion Art Awards 9 for a little film I shot for AARP.
